What you'll need
- A situation that usually pulls a quick reaction out of you: a certain message, a certain person, a certain hour
- One slow breath you can take before you answer
Method
Pick one of those moments to watch for. You already know the ones.
When it comes, take that one breath before you do anything. Let the gap sit there, even for a second, then choose how you answer.
Give it a week of these pauses, and notice what shifts — whether the outcome starts to feel more like yours, or still someone else's.
